Our process is a thoughtful, collaborative journey that transforms vision and constraints into refined, considered design outcomes.

1. PROGRAMMING
This initial phase focuses on gaining a clear and comprehensive understanding of the project, laying the foundation for a considered and successful design outcome. It involves defining the brief and establishing key objectives, assessing the space and overall scope, and identifying any constraints or challenges that may influence the design direction. Consideration is also given to the project timeline and budget, ensuring alignment from the outset, while research is undertaken to gather ideas and inspiration that will inform and shape the design vision.
2. CONCEPT
This phase marks the beginning of the design journey, where a clear vision and strong conceptual foundation are established for the project. During this stage, we define the overall design direction and style, develop mood and concept boards for each space, and explore preliminary layouts for key areas within the scope. These ideas are then thoughtfully brought together and presented as a cohesive concept, setting the tone for the design to follow.
3. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
This is when the conceptual design is thoughtfully refined and developed into a detailed, cohesive interior scheme, in close coordination with other design and technical professionals. We take the approved concept and elevate it— finalising colour palettes, selecting finishes, fabrics, furniture, and wall coverings, and preparing comprehensive sample boards. Concept plans are advanced into detailed layouts and interior elevations. High-resolution renderings bring the vision to life, illustrating key spaces within the project. The refined design is then presented for client review, with any requested revisions carefully integrated to ensure the final design reflects both the client’s aspirations and a considered, polished outcome.
4. CONTRACT DOCUMENTATION
In this phase, we transform the refined conceptual design into a fully developed and executable scheme, working closely with all design and technical professionals involved. This stage involves preparing a comprehensive set of contract drawings and coordinating essential systems including lighting. Construction details are meticulously documented, while custom features—like bespoke joinery, paneling, and lighting—are carefully detailed. Production information for custom furniture is prepared, alongside a complete set of FF&E documents and specifications, ensuring that every aspect of the design is clearly communicated and ready for implementation.
5. IMPLEMENTATION
This phase centres on the careful oversight of the design as it comes to life, ensuring that every element is executed with precision and integrity. We monitor construction to confirm alignment with drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements, while conducting site visits to review progress and address any queries that arise. Throughout the process, we provide ongoing clarification of design documentation, review shop drawings, samples, and product data, and assess workmanship to ensure it meets the agreed standards of quality. We also oversee furniture production, inspecting pieces for accuracy and craftsmanship, and coordinate the procurement and installation of all FF&E—guiding the project toward a seamless and successful realization that reflects the original design intent.
6. COMPLETION
In this final phase, we focus on perfecting every detail and ensuring that the interiors and related spaces are fully ready for handover. This involves meticulously checking all finishes and furnishings to confirm they meet the project specifications, conducting a final review with the client, contractor, and sub-contractors, and preparing detailed inspection notes and snag lists for all parties involved. We also review the placement of furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements, and style each space to achieve the intended look and atmosphere, bringing the design vision to its complete, polished reality.
