Amandira, the newest cruising vessel from the Aman brand, recently became available to rent from Amanwana resort, its home base on the Indonesian island of Moyo. The 171-foot ship— which was crafted by Indonesia’s Konjo tribe and can operate under sail or motor—was modelled after traditional phinisi boats, which were once used for transporting cargo. Amandira will take visitors through the UNESCO-protected Komodo National Park and Raja Ampat, an impressive marine area and diving spot with over 1,500 small islands.

The indoor dining area features a cozy banquette and teak-framed windows that don’t distract from the spectacular views. The cuisine, prepared using traditional Indonesian techniques, makes use of the seafood caught daily.
