Shangri-La Chi Spa
The architectural and interior design of the flagship spa for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. The spacious 1000 square meter spa is inspired by the architectural and design principles of a Tibetan temple.
The treatment suites are among the most spacious in the world, offering a concept that provides each guest with their changing, shower, and toilet areas, in addition to heat treatment, bathing and relaxation spaces.
Colours are vibrant, and finishes are understated. The ambience is one of sacred indulgence.

Undisclosed Spa Project
A collaborative project with an associate interior design firm - the conceptual design for the refurbishment of an existing spa in a neoclassical landmark hotel in Prague.
The large indoor pool in the basement of the hotel is the focal area. It is the core feature of the interior design concept for this contemporary interpretation of the traditional Roman baths.
Screens creating lighting effects and water reflections are crucial elements of the design concept. The original architectural features are retained and integrated where possible. The interior finishes and furnishings have been carefully considered to enhance the classical elements of the architecture.
All seating and lounging areas are built into the interior architecture, creating a homogeneous design that merges the interiors and the architecture.
